Maintain Maximum Disinfection Effectiveness
Reduced UVC lamp energy, when not sufficient to warrant purchasing new lamps, does mean that the actual UVC doses being applied to surfaces are also reduced. To compensate for this lower energy, the robot’s treatment times can be extended by the percentage of lamp degradation to maintain the desired treatment doses.
Predictive Maintenance & Lamp Replacement
As the historical record is built, Confluence AI’s cloud can project the lamps’ degradation date. From this, treatment technicians can estimate when new lamps will be needed. When DoseEZ’s robot testing results reach the minimum lamp energy set by the EVS or IP team, the cloud will automatically alert them that new lamps are needed.
