A simple plug-in option for the DoseEZ, built into Dose360 or as a stand-alone device, hospital rooms and ORs can continuously monitor Indoor Air Quality – and with DoseEZ or Dose360- UVC doses.
Detect Excessive Levels of Surgical Generated Smoke
Surgical smoke plume is a potentially dangerous by-product generated when lasers, electro-surgical pencils and other energy-based tools cauterize tissue, producing vaporized fluids. Approximately 5% of this gaseous material consists of over 80 toxic chemicals and by-products that pose health risks to surgical staff and patients. In addition to harmful chemicals, the smoke may contain viable and nonviable biological material and viruses. Smoke Safety-AORN.Org
Even with smoke evacuation systems, it’s important for OR staff to monitor particles, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and gases.
Long Term Stability & High Sensitivity Particle Detection
Simple to Install
AirVue IAQ may be used with or without the DoseEZ UVC sensor. Powered by a 12VDC wall outlet power module, the DoseEZ and/or AirVue IAQ are attached to any wall or set on a shelf with a small mounting bracket. Dose360’s mobile use in healthcare facilities affords snapshots of each room of a building were UVC treatments are being conducted.
