Patented & Patent Pending Methodologies
DoseEZ is a patented system for reducing Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI). Ultraviolet-C room disinfection has been performed by hospitals and other facilities for decades to help prevent HAIs, which have a $28 to $45 billion annual cost and results in 90,000+ deaths (NIH/CDC).
Until the advent of DoseEZ, the UVC dose required to destroy pathogens has for many years been measure by chemically treated paper that changes color. Highly subject interpretations of the colors, no repository of the treatment results, and limited dose ranges do little to mitigate the disastrous effects of incomplete room disinfection treatments.
