About ConfluenceAI
ConfluenceAI is committed to creating cutting-edge disinfection sensor solutions. Our lead IoT product is DoseEZ. DoseIQ and other healthcare related solutions are in the development pipeline.
A Brief History of Confluence AI
The ConfluenceAI story is a testament to the power of innovation with a dash of serendipity. It all began when the company’s founder, a visionary serial entrepreneur, was invited to collaborate on new technology for use against COVID-19. His keen eye for untapped opportunities, had identified a critical gap in the healthcare UVC light sanitization process—how to continuously and effectively measure UVC light dosage, and convert this to actionable data.
During the challenging times of the Covid pandemic, the founder dedicated himself to finding a solution, resulting in the development of patent-pending, IoT (Internet of Things) UVC Dosimeters seamlessly connected to the cloud. To complement this groundbreaking technology, a cutting-edge app reporting platform was born.
With a passion for transforming industries and a vision to revolutionize UVC light sanitization, a team with extraordinary talents was assembled. Together, they set their sights on the ultimate goal of saving money and lives by reducing Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI).
Confluence AI Corporation is where innovation meets determination, and we’re committed to delivering groundbreaking solutions that redefine the standards of UVC and additional sanitization solutions. Join us on our journey to a cleaner, healthier future.
From IoT to UVoT®: Evolving the Internet of Things for Disinfection
ConfluenceAI has developed a highly versatile IoT sensor platform for monitoring and managing UVC energy, dose and Indoor Air Quality.
Confluence AI’s wireless IoT/SaaS (Software as a Service) platform uniquely addresses healthcare’s HAI dilemma with its AI-enhanced data repository of hospital-wide, UVC disinfection treatments.
Patent-Pending Methodologies
DoseEZ, and its next generation, mega-featured DoseIQ (Q2 2025), are patent pending applications that utilize the platform for reducing Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI). Ultraviolet-C room disinfection has been performed by hospitals and other facilities for decades to help prevent HAIs, which have a $28 to $45 billion annual cost and results in 90,000+ deaths (NIH/CDC).
Until the advent of DoseEZ, the UVC dose required to destroy pathogens has been, and still is, measure by chemically treated paper that changes color. Highly subject interpretations of the colors, no repository of the treatment results, and limited dose ranges do little to mitigate the disastrous effects of incomplete room disinfection treatments.
Cloud-Based Solutions
DoseEZ cloud-based control has many infection prevention functions not to be found in mobile, robotic, wall or other UVC stand-alone devices. Cloud control can allow a hospital’s staff to set a room’s dose to a UVC dose level for a discharged patient who had pathogen A, and then set a higher dose level for the next patient with pathogen B that requires a higher dose to effectively “kill” pathogen B.
Minimum dose treatment values are easily selected, and quickly assigned to a room or groups of rooms. After treatment, DoseEZ alerts the hospital staff, if the UVC dosage was not sufficient to destroy the pathogen for that room.
